Websites

How much does a small business website cost in the UK?

Our prices are fixed. A one page Starter site is £399 one off, a multi page Local Growth Site is £1,200 one off, and your own logged in platform starts at £2,500. Care, hosting and updates are then £39/mo, and you can cancel any time.

How long does it take to build my website?

Days, not months. A Starter site is usually live within a week of you sending your details, and a Local Growth Site normally takes two to three weeks depending on how quickly we get your photos and content.

Do you write the words and sort the images?

Yes. You tell us about the business in plain English, we write the copy, choose or edit the images, and send it over for you to check before it goes live.

Will my website show up on Google?

Every site is built with clean headings, fast pages, page titles and descriptions, a sitemap and a Google submission. On the Local Growth Site we also do keyword research and build a page for each service and each area you cover, which is what usually brings the local enquiries.

Can you move my existing domain and website?

Yes. We move the domain, set up the email records, keep your old addresses working with redirects so you do not lose rankings, and handle the switch over so there is no downtime.

What does the £39/mo include?

Hosting, security, backups, software updates, small content changes and support. It keeps your site fast, safe and current instead of going stale after launch.

Do I own my website?

Yes. You own the domain and the content. If you ever leave, we hand it over rather than hold it hostage.

Do you work with businesses outside Lancashire and Greater Manchester?

Yes. We are based in the North West and work with businesses across the UK, including London and Leeds. Everything is done over email, phone and short video calls.

Custom business apps

What is a custom business app?

It is your own logged in system for the way your business actually runs. Enquiries, customers, jobs, bookings, documents and payments in one place, on your phone, instead of five separate tools and a spreadsheet.

How much does a custom business app cost?

Our managed service is £200/mo with a minimum of five hours a month included, which covers building, changes and running it. A one off Banny Platform build starts at £2,500 if you would rather own it outright.

Is it an app I can put on my phone?

Yes. It installs to your home screen like any other app and works on iPhone, Android, tablet and desktop, so your team can use it on site.

Can my customers log in too?

Yes. Your clients get their own secure login to raise requests, see progress, approve work and pay, all under your branding.

Can it take payments?

Yes. We connect Stripe so you can take deposits, one off payments and monthly fees, with everything recorded against the customer.

What if I need changes later?

You ask, we build. Requests go in through your own portal, so nothing gets lost in email threads, and changes to your app never affect anyone else's.
